WA 90-92 (1/2019): Derived from the superior lieux-dits of Les Houlières, La Rousselle, Les Charmes and Les Enseignères, Boillot's 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Village exhibits pretty aromas of lemons, white peach, fresh pastry, blanched almonds and honeycomb. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and elegant, with succulent acids and a saline finish. VM 89-91 (9/2018): Bright yellow-green color. Inviting aromas of white peach, flowers and noble herbs. Broad, round and dry, with its pure stone fruit flavors lifted by floral and spicy elements. A classy, classic Puligny villageswith a dry, saline back end. Stephen Tanzer. |

VM 94 (8/2021): The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Clos de la Mouchère 1er Cru has a light bouquet of undergrowth and wet pavement, a little subdued at first but finding its voice with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, and there is some beautifully integrated oak here. Harmonious and poised with wonderful weight and precision toward the finish, where veins of white peach furnish the seductive aftertaste. Absolutely delicious. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting in Savigny-lès-Beaune. (Drink between 2023-2042). Neal Martin. BH 93 (7/2022): A touch of mineral reduction can be found on the markedly floral-inflected nose of white peach, spice and discreet wood nuances. There is first-rate volume to the caressing yet powerful flavors that possess excellent mid-palate density before concluding in an energetic and well-balanced finale. This isn't especially complex at present so I would suggest holding it for another 4 to 6 years first. Lovely. Tried twice since release with consistent notes. (Drink starting 2027). |

VM 95-98 (9/2018): Pale yellow. Wonderfully delicate and discreet on the nose, hinting at lemon drop and minerals; Boillot says he's normally the first to harvest in Montrachet and this wine certainly conveys an early-picked aspect. Pure and silky on the palate and thicker than the Chevalier-Montrachet, but with terrific inner-mouth cut. Displays impeccable balance on the very suave, slowly rising finish. Can a wine be both understated and explosive? "Two thousand seventeen is a real fruit year," says Boillot, and in fact this citrussy, floral Montrachet is not yet showing the site's iodiney minerality. But that will come. Stephen Tanzer. WA 93-96 (1/2019): The 2017 Montrachet Grand Cru is among the most reserved wines in the cellar, unfurling in the glass with a reticent bouquet of crisp orchard fruit, white flowers and light reduction that wasn't revealing its full range when I tasted it. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, ample and concentrated, with broad shoulders and evident power, concluding with a stony finish, but the full extent of its quality is hard to read. |

| BH 93 (6/2019): A cool and admirably pure nose displays notes of green apple, floral, citrus and a hint of wood toast. There is excellent volume, power and punch to the well-detailed and overtly stony broad-shouldered flavors that coat the palate on the impressively long finish that also reflects a bitter lemon nuance. While this is a classically styled CC, it remains relatively refined and should drink reasonably well after only 5 years or so of bottle age. Drink 2027+. |

WA 94 (8/2019): A bottling that regularly excels chez Dauvissat, the 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Séchet opens in the glass with delicate aromas of citrus peel, grapefruit, crisp green apples and white flowers, with only subtle hints of the oyster shell to come. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, with a deep and tight-knit core, striking tension and a searingly mineral finish. Séchet—where Dauvissat owns a 0.8-hectare parcel—is located in the Vaillons Valley, but its windier situation and soils richer in active limestone mean it's typically much chalkier and more tensile than the other climats that make up Vaillons. VM 92 (1/2020): The 2017 Chablis Sechet 1er Cru is soft and open-knit, not to mention incredibly inviting. Dried pear, almond, spice and savory notes all grace this lovely, absolutely charming Chablis. Pretty floral overtones add to its considerable allure. This is one of the wines in this range that will drink best with minimal cellaring. (Drink between 2020-2032). Antonio Galloni. BH 91 (10/2019): An impressively broad-ranging nose offers up notes of mineral reduction, wet chalk, sea breeze, citrus and dried apple. There is good richness yet also good refinement to the generously proportioned flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the beautifully persistent finish. This too is very good and should age effortlessly. (Drink starting 2027). |

| VM 89+ (8/2021): The 2017 Chablis Montée de Tonerre 1er Cru has a lightly perfumed, smoky nose with white peach and gunflint scents, all well defined and focused. There is just a little SO2 to contend with. The palate is medium-bodied with a reduced entry. A suppressed and slightly bitter Montée de Tonnerre that feels bitter on the finish. Maybe I would give it a couple of years in bottle. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting in Savigny-lès-Beaune. (Drink between 2023-2032). Neal Martin. |

BH 95 (10/2019): (from 4 separate parcels totaling 4.11 ha, 3 of which are all at the top of the slope.) Here too there is enough wood, even though subtle, to merit mentioning on the decidedly cool and reserved nose that offers up plenty of floral elements along with those of citrus, iodine and oyster shell. The lavishly rich, muscular and overtly powerful flavors possess the hallmark minerality that carries over to the dense, citrusy and bone dry finish. This beauty should age effortlessly and is class in a glass. Drink 2032+. VM 94 (1/2020): The 2017 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is dense and exotic, with tremendous volume and textural richness that develops with a bit of air. It should start to settle down with more time in bottle. Today, though, I am struck by the wine's sheer weight. Antonio Galloni. |

| VM 97 (1/2020): An exotic, totally beguiling wine, the 2017 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru melds together rich fruit with saline, mineral-drenched intensity. | BH 93 (6/2019): Once again there is just a touch of exotic fruit character to the jasmine tea, bright citrus, white peach and pretty floral nuances, all of which are trimmed in a hint of oak toast. The rich, round and highly seductive medium-bodied flavors flash evident minerality on the rich but focused finish that exhibits outstanding persistence. This too will need to add depth but it has the stuffing to do so. (Drink starting 2027). |

| VM 93 (8/2021): The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Caillerets 1er Cru has a well-defined, sunny bouquet of orange pith and nectarine; an underlying mineralité comes through with aeration. The palate is taut, fresh and quite saline in the mouth, with a touch of sour lemon on a finish of moderate length. This feels quite backward but its energy suggests a long future. Ripe but attractively fresh aromas are comprised by notes of mostly white orchard fruit, and in particular essence of pear, along with plenty of floral elements that are trimmed in hints of wood, matchstick and mandarin orange peel. There is excellent volume to the powerful, intense and concentrated middle weight plus flavors that display a refreshing salinity on the driving, complex and beautifully long finale. | VM 91-93 (1/2019): The 2017 Musigny Vieilles Vignes Blanc Grand Cru is the third vintage since the domaine elected to reintroduce it as a Musigny instead of a Bourgogne Blanc. It has a generous, quite Rhône-like bouquet with hints of fennel and oregano infusing the pear and white peach fruit. The palate is beautifully balanced, featuring Corton-Charlemagne-like weight and veins of stem ginger and lemongrass toward the persistent finish. I love the weight and generosity here. A swarthy white Musigny that marches to its own beat. Neal Martin. |
