| WA 91 (5/2026): The 2023 Condrieu Vernon reveals aromas of white peach, flowers, honeysuckle and ripe apricot. Medium- to full-bodied, round and fleshy, it is elegant and well-balanced, built around a concentrated core of fruit and concluding with a gently fruit-driven finish. |

WA 95 (9/2024): Crafted from six permitted varieties in equal proportions, co-fermented and cold-settled for one night, the 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc from Clos des Papes exhales a delicate, complex bouquet of fennel, verbena, pear, iodine, herbs and acacia blossoms. Medium to full-bodied, pure and seamless, it's built around bright acids, a layered, lovely structured texture and a long, ethereal, saline finish. The phenolic aftertaste adds a racy profile that I find particularly appealing. JD 94 (10/2024): The 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc is a richer, opulent wine from Vincent that offers beautiful pear, ripe citrus, licorice, and honeyed flower notes in its medium to full-bodied, richly textured, layered style. It's beautifully done and probably best drunk in its first decade of life. |

JD 92 (5/2025): Based on 100% Marsanne, the 2023 Saint Joseph Silice Blanc reveals melon, honeyed flowers, spice, and toasted notes, showing impressive purity and cleanliness. It's fleshy on the palate, with beautiful balance and good purity, and while it has a slightly hazy color, it remains an impressive white. Drink bottles over the coming 4-6 years. Drink 2025-2031. WA 91 (3/2025): Fresher and livelier than its Paradis Saint-Pierre counterpart, the 2023 Saint-Joseph Silice Blanc reveals aromas of confit citrus, spring blossoms and pear. Moderately weighted and delicately enveloping, it's juicy and layered with bright acids, concluding with a mouthwatering, floral finish. VM 90 (1/2025): Flinty elements introduce the 2023 Saint-Joseph Blanc Silice, accompanied by notes of cedar, ripe pear, white peach and lemon flesh. Full-bodied, round and generous, the 2023 bundles vibrant energy and checks out with persistence on the sapid finish. This is an exquisite white Saint-Joseph. Drink between 2025-2027. Nicolas Greinacher. |

| VM 94 (1/2025): Matured for 9 months in 100% new French oak, the 2023 Codrieu La Doraine takes off with toasty subtleties, mingling pristine white peach, apricot and jasmine with a touch of honeysuckle. Packing elevated flavor concentration on the dense palate, the 2023 is an outgoing, articulate La Doraine. Round and complex, it walks off the stage with a touch of lemon flesh and wet stone on the long, nuanced finish. Drink between 2026-2034. Nicholas Greinacher. |

JD 97 (10/2024): Moving to the special cuvées, the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Clos Du Belvédère Blanc is 100% Grenache Blanc. It has an Hermitage Blanc-like stature and offers ample white currants, acacia flowers, crushed stone, and subtle spicy, toasty notes in a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, balanced, almost structured style. VM 93 (11/2024): A single-varietal Grenache Blanc, the 2023 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Clos de Belvédère frames prominent lemon flesh, yellow apple, cedar and vanilla on the nose. Jasmine lends a floral note. Medium- to full-bodied and refined, the concentrated 2023 concludes with excellent energy and freshness on the sapid finish. (Drink between 2024-2030). Nicolas Greinacher. WA 92+ (9/2024): Made entirely from Grenache Blanc, the 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Clos du Belvedere is more vibrant and tense than the classic white wine from this estate, thanks to a pH of 3.27 and 14.3% alcohol. Evoking aromas of herbs, white fruits, jasmine, honeysuckle and spices, it's round and enveloping with a medium to full-bodied profile and a long, ethereal, chalky finish. It matured for nine months in large barrels and production is only 2,600 bottles. |

JD 96 (10/2024): Orange blossom, honeyed lemon, toasted bread, and a beautiful white flower-like character all emerge from the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Clairettes De Gabriel, a sensational white based on 100% Clairette. It's medium to full-bodied, concentrated, has integrated acidity, and a beautiful sense of minerality on the finish. VM 92 (11/2024): Wet stone, lemon flesh and jasmine launch the 2023 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Les Clairettes de Gabriel, a single-varietal Clairette Blanche. Round and finessed, the 2023 bundles ample freshness and energy, culminating in an uplifting finale. (Drink between 2024-2030). Nicholas Greinacher. WA 90 (9/2024): Crafted exclusively from Clairette planted on chalky soils, the 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape les Clairettes de Gabriel exhales a shy, closed but young bouquet of spices, ripe peach and pear. Medium-bodied, enveloping and textured, it's juicy but lacks dynamism and freshness on the finish. Matured in used barrels for nine months, this Clairette is elegant (though somewhat short on the finish) and provides valuable insight into Clairette in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. |

JD 96 (10/2024): The 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Vieilles Roussanne is from 100% Roussanne. Its medium gold hue is followed by gorgeous nose of honeyed peach, acacia flowers, toasted bread, and white almonds. I love its overall balance, and it's medium to full-bodied, has a pure, seamless, layered mouthfeel, terrific concentration, and outstanding length. VM 93 (11/2024): The 2023 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Les Vieilles Roussanne unwinds with distinct herbal tea, cedar, honeysuckle and ripe pear aromatics. Hitting the full-bodied palate with ample concentration, it caps off with endurance on the elegant finish. Although the 2023 doesn’t reach the same heights as the standout 2021, it’s still a delicious effort from the talented Laurent Bréchet. (Drink between 2024-2029). Nicolas Greinacher. WA 92 (9/2024): The 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Vieilles Roussanne reveals a ripe, exotic bouquet of ripe pear, exotic fruits, almonds, honeysuckle, honey, vanilla, oak and white flowers. Full-bodied, round and mouth coating, it's dense with a broad texture and an oaky, long finish. Crafted entirely from Roussanne and matured for nine months in a combination of new (50%) and used barrels (50%), this wine originates from vines grown in chalky soils. With a pH of 3.83, it is approachable now but will continue to develop gracefully over the next 5-10 years. |
