WA 97 (2/2015): Deep garnet-purple, the 2010 Cluster M45 Shiraz has lovely floral and herbal notes wafting over a solid core of youthful blackberries and black cherries with nuances of Chinese five spice and cloves. Great intensity and balance in a rather modest medium-full body with great graininess to the tannins and plenty of freshness. It finishes long. Note that no 2011 Cluster M45 was produced.
VM 92 (8/2013): Inky purple. A heady bouquet displays scents of candied dark berries, cherry-vanilla and incense, along with a smoky topnote. Lush and creamy in texture, offering palate-staining blackberry and cherry compote flavors and a hint of olive. Soft tannins build on the clinging finish, which leaves notes of blue fruits and licorice behind. Josh Raynolds. |

WA 94 (8/2012): Composed of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Malbec and 3% Cabernet Franc, the 2010 Diana Madeline was aged for an average of 19 months in French barriques, 51% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, it offers an intense perfume of crushed black currants, blackberry preserves and mulberries with underlying clove, cedar, yeast extract, black olive and damp loam hints. The modest light to medium-bodied palate really packs the flavor into an elegant package with layer upon layer of youthful blackberry and spice flavors supported by a firm level of finely grained tannins and crisp acidity, finishing long. It should drink best 2015 to 2028+.
VM 93 (7/2012): Dark ruby. Redcurrant, cherry and pipe tobacco on the highly perfumed nose, with a touch of allspice. Aeration brings up darker fruits and a hint of candied violet. Shows very good concentration and focus, with no excess fat and excellent finishing clarity. Josh Raynolds. |

| Decanter 95 (9/2018): In a benchmark year for Cabernet Sauvignon, this lithe example deftly walks a tightrope of precision and power - specifically fruit power. It's laced with inky florals and dried herbs, while ripe, glossy, perfumed blueberry and cassis fruit saturates the palate. Seamless oak lets the bounteous fruit do the talking, leading to a penetrating finish of balanced acidity and a fine plume of tannins. This spent 14 months in new French oak.
