JD 95+ (5/2022): Lastly, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Cuvee L is one big, badass Napa Valley Cabernet that brings an incredible amount of cassis and currant-like fruit as well as notes of chocolate, smoked tobacco, and scorched earth. Full-bodied on the palate, it’s slightly closed and tight, but nevertheless has good mid-palate density and beautiful tannins. Hide bottles for 2-4 years, and it should deliver the goods over the coming 15 years or more. (Drink between 2024-2042). |

JD 94 (1/2019): There are two Chardonnays. The 2017 Chardonnay Sonoma County is a beauty and has a big perfume of caramelized pineapple, tangerine, and toasted oak. It’s rich, medium-bodied, and beautifully textured, with plenty of length. It’s seriously good Chardonnay that has richness and freshness. |
