| WA 92 (5/2018): An impressive Chardonnay from the limestone soils of Limoux, the 2016 Grand Vin Blanc could rival a decent Meursault. It's buttery and toasty up front, but it backs those oaky notes with plenty of plump pear and melon fruit. Medium-bodied, it's intense, concentrated and long, finishing with bright citrus and a lingering note of pencil shavings. |

| VM 93 (8/2018): Light, amber-tinged orange color. A complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe red berries, blood orange, succulent flowers and honey, with a dusty mineral note emerging as the wine opens up. Sappy and penetrating on the palate, offering concentrated redcurrant, blood orange and lavender pastille flavors and a touch of fennel. The mineral note adds lift and cut to a very long, chewy finish that shows a subtle hint of bitter peach pit. (Drink between 2019-2026). Josh Raynolds. |

Sappy, penetrating and pure, offering concentrated red berry and pit fruit flavors braced by a spine of juicy acidity and a spicy jolt of white pepper.
