| JS 95 (9/2020): Lots of red and black bramble fruit on the nose with flowers, wet earth, old vine, moss and citrus peel, following through to a medium-to full-bodied palate with light, round tannins and a bright, vivid finish. It develops beautifully in the glass giving more and more purity of fruit and creamy round tannins. Low sulfur. From one of the masters of Beaujolais. Drink now. |

| BH 89-92 (4/2021): Firm reduction renders the nose unreadable though there is very good vibrancy and delineation to the less concentrated yet still punchy and powerful flavors that conclude in a dusty and slightly rustic finale. This is an interesting wine in that, tasted blind, it could easily pass for a pinot-based wine. Drink 2026+. |

| WA 92 (5/2020): The 2019 Brouilly offers up pretty aromas of raspberries, orange rind and rose petals, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and elegantly fleshy palate that's bright and lively, with fine depth at the core and a long, energetic finish. Once again, this cuvee has turned out very nicely. |
