| JD 90 (4.2026): Pouring a youthful ruby/magenta color, the 2024 Barbera d'Alba Superiore Pairolero is refreshing and floral, with notes of violets, black raspberries, and stony earth. The palate is tangy and bright, medium to lean in body in this vintage, with snappy acidity and tart berry fruit on the finish. It is mouthwatering and lively, with a touch of youthful greenness in the profile, although I suspect it will improve given a few short months to harmonize in the bottle. Drink 2026-2032.
