| JM 88-90 (10/2025): Mid lemon yellow. A smoky reduction on the nose. An oily note to the texture, a little burnt note as well, is that from the wood or just reduction? Slightly sour lemons skins to finish. Not in place today, but I would expect it to cheer up later on. Drink from 2028-2032. |

BH 96 (6/2026): (from 60+ year old vines and the vineyard is a whopping 4 ha monopole within Perrières). Here too the lightly wooded nose displays a panoply of floral nuances that include rose petal, lilac and acacia blossom with additional notes of just grated zest, spice and green apple. There is almost painful intensity to the slightly more concentrated and more mineral-driven flavors that conclude in a chiseled, youthfully austere and sneaky long finale that seems to go on and on. The Clos de la Mouchère is always excellent but in 2024, it is genuinely stunning. Drink 2032+. Outstanding! JM 93-96 (10/2025): Mid yellow. There is a little touch of patisserie on the nose, showing the additional breadth of fruit on Henri Boillot’s favourite vineyard. That’s what gives the gourmandise to the wine, says Henri. This seems to have all the aspects with an excellent mineral backbone holding the fruit together. Lime blossom and acacia he finds, from the adjacent trees which flower at the same time. Very fine long finish. Drink from 2030-2036. VM 90 (1/2026): The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Clos de la Mouchère 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet with a veil of new oak, just like the other cuvées I tasted from Boillot. The palate is balanced with a rounded texture, quite a weight and assertive Puligny that needs more finesse to develop on the finish. Neal Martin. |

JM 92-94 (10/2025): Mid lemon yellow. There is additional weight to the Perrières, making a very complete wine, fresh almonds for me and Henri Boillot finds a mandarin note as well. Strong mineral backbone. Very nicely balanced overall. Drink from 2030-2035. BH 92 (6/2026): Just enough wood to mention sets off the cool aromas of pear confit, acacia blossom and pretty spice wisps. There is excellent punch to the refined, if not especially dense, medium-bodied flavors that exude the hallmark minerality of a fine Perrières that adds a sense of lift to the impressively long and bitter lemon rind-inflected finish. Drink 2032+. Outstanding! |
