Platinum Label Shiraz

VM 92 (9/2005): Deep, violet-hued ruby. Intense, spicy aromas of cracked pepper, dark berries, licorice, rose oil, exotic oak spices and freshly ground coffee. A fat, sweet shiraz with concentrated plum and creme de mure flavors accented by vanilla, fruitcake and toffee. As flamboyant as this is, the finish is relatively restrained, displaying round silky tannins and lingering sweet berry flavor.
