| WA 92 (12/2010): A dramatic upgrade, the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve exhibits aromas of creme de cassis, burning embers, licorice and smoked herbs. It ratchets up the body, concentration and depth yet possesses silky smooth tannins and a forward style. This beauty should drink well for 15+ years. |

VM 93 (10/2015): Snowden's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon The Ranch is bold, delicious and juicy. Black cherry, plum, licorice and smoke all meld together effortlessly. The tannins could use another year or two to soften, but the Ranch Cabernet is going to drink well with minimal cellaring next to most wines of the vintage. (Drink between 2015-2025). Antonio Galloni. WA 88 (10/2015): I tasted three Cabernet Sauvignon offerings from Snowden. The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon The Ranch seemed a little underwhelming, but round, juicy, with slightly herbaceous tinges, soft, elegant red and blackcurrant fruit, licorice, and dusty, loamy soil scents. It is already drinkable and should probably be consumed within the next decade. |
