Mature Vine Pinot Noir

WA 93 (12/2023): The 2019 Rippon Mature Vine Pinot Noir is nuanced and spicy, welcoming and detailed. This is quite different from the 2020 tasted beside it, and the acidity has a succulent blood orange tang (no additions—Nick says, "Have you seen the glacier?"). This is an excellent wine here, supple, slinky, red fruited and fresh. I love the gently trippy tannins.
