| JS 96 (7/2013): There is something so subtle and rich here with chocolate, red chilies and ripe plums on the nose. Full body, with velvety tannins and a juicy finish. This is so delicious now but better in 2017. Best ever from here. A blend of 50% Melot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc. From Bolgheri. Just next door to Ornellaia. |

JS 94 (3/2017): Fascinating aromas of stone, wet concrete and dark fruit. Full body, firm and silky tannins and a flavorful finish. A structured and firm wine. Give it two or three years to soften. VM 93+ (4/2018): The 2014 Orma is a powerful, tightly wound wine. Although the 2014 doesn’t have the radiance or immediacy of the 2015, it has plenty to offer, especially once it comes together a bit more in bottle. Beams of tannin give the 2014 its insistent, nervous personality. But beneath that, the flavors are remarkably pure. Savory herb, espresso, tobacco and menthol start to open up with time in the glass. The 2014 could turn out to be a real jewel of a wine if it softens in time. There is a good bit of potential here. Antonio Galloni. WA 92 (10/2017): The 2014 Orma is a Tuscan blend of Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc executed with evident inspiration from Bordeaux. The wine shows a deep, dark appearance with rich consistency and a full-bodied approach. The bouquet delivers the power and integrity that you can expect of this celebrated Tuscan blend, although the mouthfeel does not show the same level of extraction or power. This is a good thing, in my opinion, as the 2014 vintage offers a level of understated elegance that you don't usually get from a wine of this more international and contemporary approach. |

JS 98 (8/2017): Plenty of ripe blackberry and incense. Opens up beautifully in the glass. So perfumed. Full body and seamless tannins that coat your palate with a silky texture. Wonderfully framed with complex fruit. Drink in 2021 but already gorgeous. WA 94 (10/2017): The 2015 Orma is absolutely rich in intensity and thick in extract. The sunny 2015 vintage is all about exuberance and gosh you do get that here. This is a viscerally exciting wine with a large load of dark fruit, blackberry and crème de cassis. Those fruity tones segue to spice, leather, tobacco and barbecue smoke. Roasted espresso bean and dusty chocolate appear on the full-bodied finish. This is a complete, rich and nicely extracted red wine from the Tuscan Coast. The blend is 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc. |

| VM 95 (3/2019): The 2016 Orma is laced with the essence of black cherry, smoke, licorice, spice and dark chocolate. Medium in body and persistent, with striking poise, Orma is absolutely gorgeous in 2016. All the elements simply fall into place effortlessly. Deceptively in its mid-weight feel, the 2016 offers striking persistence and tons of class. Antonio Galloni. |

| JS 97 (7/2021): This is a tight and powerful Orma with solid tannins that beautifully frame the fruit in the wine. Full-bodied and focused with intense structure and fruit character. Perhaps the best Orma ever. Give this four or five years to open. Try after 2025. |

WA 94 (6/2022): A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, the Orma 2020 Orma is richly concentrated and midnight black in appearance. It presents considerable intensity in terms of its ink-like flavors of wild plum, blackberry confit, dark spice and cured tobacco. The wine wraps heavily over the palate, imparting lots of important textural richness along the way. You are best off serving a wine of this depth and magnitude with a classic T-bone cut bistecca alla fiorentina. JS 93 (5/2022): You really sense the sea and brightness here, with super-fine tannins and a long and beautiful palate. Medium body, fine tannins and a lightly chewy structure. 40% merlot, 35% cabernet and 25% cabernet franc. Try after 2023, but already delicious. |
