| BH 90 (6/2022): Reasonably subtle though easily perceptible wood sets off the very pretty Puligny-like nose of acacia blossom, white orchard fruit, especially pear, along with discreet spice and citrus zest nuances. There is good density to the appealingly textured medium-bodied flavors that flash both good depth and persistence on the balanced and lingering finish. This is presently quite backward and compact and in need of at least a few years first. A fine villages. (Drink starting 2026). |

| BH 93 (6/2023): Discreet but not invisible wood is present on the overtly floral-suffused nose that displays background hints of lemon rind and a phenolic character (think olive oil nuances). There is a lovely texture to the medium-bodied and generously proportioned flavors that brim with sappy dry extract, all wrapped in a bitter citrus and impressively long finale where the only reproach is a hint of warmth. (Drink starting 2029). |

BH 91 (6/2022): This is aromatically quite similar to the straight Puligny though with more floral elements plus a subtle application of oak. There is a really lovely texture to the utterly delicious and solidly concentrated medium weight flavors that possess the innate class of a fine Puligny while displaying even better depth and persistence on the well-balanced finale. This is also an excellent villages and one to strongly consider. (Drink starting 2027).
WA 90 (1/2022): Aromas of peach, white currants, pear, wheat toast, mint and spices introduce the 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères, a medium to full-bodied, bright and fleshy wine with a gourmand core of ripe fruit, lively acids and good structuring extract. It has turned out nicely. |
