| VM 88 (6/2004): Red-ruby. Aromas of eucalyptus, smoke and meat. Sweet, supple and fairly fat, with flavors of eucalyptus and tomato. Suggests a rather wide range of ripeness. |

| VM 90 (6/2007): Good red-ruby. Aromas of redcurrant, cherry, earth, smoke and tobacco. Sweet and plump, with moderately complex flavors of redcurrant, gravel and loam; showing less of the eucalyptus character of past vintages, which winemaker Gary Brookman attributes to the maturing vines (they were planted in 1998), the small crop level, and an element of dehydration in 2004. | VM 90 (10/2015): The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is an attractive, mid-weight wine. Sweet red cherry, raspberries mint and eucalyptus flesh out nicely in the glass. The 2012 could use a bit more mid-palate generosity and overall depth, but it is solid nonetheless. Antonio Galloni. |

| VM 91-94 (6/2007): Deep, bright ruby-red. Highly complex aromas of raspberry, blackberry, boysenberry, mocha, minerals, tobacco and sexy, smoky oak. Broad and dense but airy, with lovely mineral lift to the berry and chocolate flavors. This rather powerful and highly promising wine finishes with serious, chewy tannins and excellent length. Winemaker Gary Brookman noted that the team here dropped crop three times but still brought in 13 tons of fruit for 3 acres; the previous high had been just over 8! Brookman believes that 2005 combines the richness and opulence of vintages like 2004 and 2002 with the classic character and backbone of 2003 and 2001. |

| JS 94 (5/2014): A beautiful red with superb concentration for the vintage, featuring currants, berries and light milk chocolate. Full and silky, with a soft texture and a delicately fruity aftertaste. Dick Grace is a guru of classic Napa cab each vintage. Better in 2016. |
