| VM 92 (10/2020): Boulay’s 2018 Sancerre Clos de Beaujeu, tasted from magnum, is gracious, airy and understated. Everything about the 2018 speaks to finesse. Lemon oil, mint, sage and white pepper all open with a bit of air, lending brightness and creating a very appealing upper register to play off the fruit. (Drink between 2020-2030). Antonio Galloni. |

| VM 94 (10/2020): The 2018 Sancerre Comtesse is the most aromatic of the 2018s I tasted. The bouquet is redolent with Sauvignon Blanc white flower signatures. There is plenty of citrus, white orchard fruit, mint and tomato leaf, and yet the wine is quite soft, with no angular edges, and exceptional balance. (Drink between 2022-2030). Antonio Galloni. |
