| VM 94 (10/2016): The 2013 Barbaresco Manzola is soft, succulent and inviting for a young Barbaresco. Mid-weight, gracious and supple, the 2013 speaks to balance above all else. High-toned aromatics meld into a core of sweet red cherry, chalk, mint, pine, tobacco and white pepper. This is the most feminine and gracious Barbaresco in Nada's range. | VM 93 (10/2018): The 2015 Barbaresco Manzola is beautifully lifted and gracious in the glass. Rose petal, sweet red cherry, mint, wild flowers and cinnamon are nicely woven together in this very pretty and expressive Barbaresco. As was the case last year, my impression is that the heat of 2015 helped produce a flashy, racy Barbaresco with relatively soft contours that will drink well with minimal cellaring. | VM 94 (11/2019): The 2016 Barbaresco Manzola is a brilliant wine. Freshly cut flowers, sweet red berries, mint, chalk and white pepper all pulse through the 2016. A Barbaresco of energy and tension, the 2016 is a bit nervous in feel, and yet it also has terrific depth, not to mention exceptional balance. The 2016 is one of the finest Manzolas I can remember tasting. In this range, the Manzola is distinguished by its saline minerality and drive. (Drink between 2022-2036). Antonio Galloni. |

| VM 95+ (10/2017): The 2014 Barbaresco Montaribaldi is just as impressive from bottle as it was from barrel, not to mention a more than worthy follow up to the 2013. Wonderfully deep and layered, the 2014 possesses remarkable inner sweetness and resonance, with sweet, silky tannins (for a young Barbaresco) and captivating balance. | VM 94 (10/2016): Nada's flagship Barbaresco Rombone is superb in 2013. Translucent and weightless, the intensity of Rombone comes through in an especially understated voice relative to the more explosive personality this wine usually shows. Exotic spice and mentholated notes round out the dark, balsamic-inflected notes. The Rombone spent one year in French oak and a second year in cask. In this vintage, the Rombone also comes across as a bit less modern in interpretation than in the past. (Drink between 2019-2028). Antonio Galloni. |

| VM 96 (11/2019): The 2016 Barbaresco Rombone is the most finessed Rombone I have tasted in twenty years of visiting the property. A reduction of time in barrique in favor of cask seems to release the wine's aromatic intensity while giving a more elegant, mid-weight Rombone with less overt unctuousness and much more Nebbiolo character. Kirsch, blood orange, mint, chalk and sage are some of the many notes that inform this utterly beguiling, alluring Barbaresco. In short, this is what Treiso is all about. What a wine!
