| JD 92-94 (12/2022): The 2021 Cornas showed amazingly well, and it brings more ripeness and texture than just about every other Cornas out there. Ripe blackberries, mulberries, spicy herbs, and earth all emerge on the nose, and it's medium-bodied, with terrific mid-palate depth and ripe tannins. This cuvée comes from a mix of terroirs and will spend 14 months in used barrels. |

| JD 93-95 (12/2022): The 2021 Cornas Vin Noir is even better and clearly a candidate for the wine of the appellation. Ripe blackberries, smoked herbs, cured meats, iron, and spice all flow to a medium to full-bodied, beautifully concentrated, balanced Cornas offering ripe, velvety tannins, plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great finish. Bravo. |

JD 94 (3/2024): Tart quince, orange marmalade, minty herbs, flowers, and green almond notes all show up in the 2022 Saint-Péray Marsanne, another pure, balanced, concentrated, yet still vibrant and fresh white from this talented vigneron. It has good acidity, a focused, structured mouthfeel, and a great finish. VM 91 (3/2024): The 2022 Saint-Péray Marsanne delights with lemon flesh, ripe pear, white peach, honeysuckle and apricot traces. Medium-bodied and utterly refreshing, the 2022 exhibits a juicy core of citrus and stone fruit flavors, all framed up by crisp acidity. It should drink well upon release. NIcholas Greinacher. |

JD 98 (12/2019): Lastly, the flagship white is the 2018 Saint-Peray Pur Blanc, which is 100% Marsanne from 100-year-old vines that was brought up all in barrel. It offers a liquid rock-like minerality and salinity as well as extraordinary notes of white currants, quince, green almonds, and toasted bread. This full-bodied, powerful Saint-Peray has a stacked mid-palate, flawless balance, and a finish that won’t quit. It’s one of the greatest Saint-Perays ever made. WA 95 (12/2019): One of the region's best white wines, Robert's 2018 Saint Peray Pur Blanc proves that altitude isn't a necessity—the century-old Marsanne vines are located in the village of Saint Peray, at the base of the appellation. It's reticent on the nose, with delicate scents evocative of crushed stone and rainwater, and then full-bodied but fresh on the palate, with lively flavors of pear and melon. It really separates from the pack on the finish, which is long, lively and cooling-refreshing, with an almost weightless character. VM 95 (5/2020): Light, shimmering yellow-gold. Highly perfumed Meyer lemon, pear nectar, iodine and tarragon qualities on the expansive, mineral-accented nose. Juicy and finely detailed on the palate, offering densely packed citrus, orchard fruit, honeysuckle and sweet butter flavors that show outstanding clarity and mineral cut. Delivers superb energy and power on the incisive, strikingly long finish, which features resonating floral and mineral notes. Raised in four year-old barriques; the vines in this plot are over 100 years old and may include some ancient, now non-permitted varieties. Josh Raynolds. |
