| BH 89 (2/2019): A still agreeably fresh and cool nose has now partially secondary with its notes of red berries and earth. the sleek, intense and well-detailed medium weight flavors possess a lovely texture and while the lingering finish is not especially complex, this is still quite satisfying. For my taste this has just arrived at its peak and as such it should be capable of holding here for another 5 to perhaps even 10 years. (Drink starting 2019) |

| BH 93 (4/2012): (From a .63 ha parcel). There is a hint of vegetal here that actually adds breadth to the sauvage, cool and wonderfully fresh and complex nose of red currants, earth and humus. The silky yet focused, intense and overtly austere big-bodied flavors possess an excellent sense of underlying tension on the still exceptionally tight finish that is supported by a very firm tannic spine. This is terrific as it has a strikingly sophisticated mouth feel and superb aging potential. Drink 2023+. |

| BH 95 (5/2011): A perfumed, complex and mostly still primary nose offers up earthy red berry fruit, underbrush and a touch of animale that can also be found on the generous and quite fleshy flavors that possess excellent volume as well as buckets of dry extract that almost render the firm and ripe tannins invisible on the massively long finish. Wow, this is a stunner of a wine with still plenty of upside potential remaining. Outstanding! Drink: 2019+. |

| BH 92 (3/2016): This lovely effort is coming along nicely as there is now some secondary character evident on the still cool and fresh nose that mixes various red berry fruit aromas with those of spice, earth and smoky nuances. The delcious, supple and relatively forward middle weight plus flavors possess good detail on the focused and complex finale that displays just a hint of austerity. This is not far from its apogee but for my taste I would still be inclined to hold it for another 2 to perhaps 5 years first. Tasted several times with consistent notes. Try from 2018+. |

| BH 92 (5/2011): A pretty, perfumed and quite elegant nose of liqueur-like red and blue berry fruit aromas is trimmed in soft earth nuances that can also be found on the concentrated, delicious and intense middle weight flavors that possess an attractively textured mouth feel and outstanding length. I like the level of phenolic maturity and this should reward well another decade of cellar time. Drink 2020+. Outstanding! |
