WA 92+ (1/2025): The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Les Aubues is terrific, unwinding in the glass with aromas of pear, white flowers, hazelnuts, freshly baked bread and matchstick. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and suave, it's layered and concentrated, with a dense core of fruit, racy acids and a long, mineral finish. As readers may remember, this derives from an optimally situated enclave within Les Enceignères.
