BH 91-94 (6/2016): A beautifully layered nose combines notes of pear, white peach, soft wood and honeysuckle aromas. The gorgeously satin-textured flavors possess a palpable sense of volume as the mid-palate is blessed with an abundance of palate coating dry extract that once again does a fine job of buffering the moderately firm acidity on the focused yet exceptionally rich finale that displays a wisp of minerality. This beauty is pretty much textbook Charmes. (Drink starting 2021).
