| BH 89-92 (1/2022): Here there is enough reduction to knock down the fruit though it's clearly ripe. Otherwise, there is slightly better intensity to the bigger and more voluminous medium weight flavors that possess solid depth and persistence on the balanced and more structured finale. This too should drink reasonably well on the younger side. |

| BH 92-94 (1/2024): A more elegant and markedly spicier nose freely reveals its overtly floral aromas of the essence of red pinot fruit and plum scents. The sleek, vibrant and beautifully textured middleweight flavors flash an almost pungent minerality on the complex, balanced and strikingly long finale. It's often qualitatively close between the Amoureuses and BM but in 2022, the Amoureuses is clearly the better of the two wines. We will see in time as the Bertheau BM always ages extremely well but at present, this is the more interesting wine. Drink 2030+. |

| BH 91 (4/2015): Positively stunning aromatics are composed of classic Chambolle aromas of spice, flowers and various red berry fruit scents. The beguilingly textured and well-detailed medium-bodied flavors possess a silky mouth feel, all wrapped in a solidly persistent and impeccably well-balanced finish. This is not more than moderately ripe but it avoids auterity plus there is so much energy that one just really feels like drinking it. While this could certainly be profitably held for another 3 to 5 years to develop a bit more depth, it could easily be enjoyed young. Try from 2018+. |

| BH 92 (1/2018): (from a .66 ha parcel.) Here too there is enough wood present to remark upon framing the spicier and more layered nose of pomegranate, red cherry, plum and lavender scents where a whisper of orange peel is present. Once again there is more volume and richness to the delicious, stylish and refined flavors that also coat the palate on the seductively textured and lingering finale. Like the 1er, this is relatively powerful but should be able to drink well early yet age effortlessly for a decade or perhaps even longer. Drink 2025+. Outstanding! |
