WA 94 (11/2018): Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Soutard-Cadet (composed of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc) offers up black plums, warm blackberries and smoked meats scents with hints of black soil, tobacco and black pepper. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has fantastic concentration and depth, with a firm, grainy frame and long savory finish.
