VM 93 (2/2023): The 2020 La Croizille is a very pretty and expressive Saint-Émilion. Open and expressive in its aromatics, the 2020 opens beautifully in the glass. Scents of tobacco, cedar, menthol, licorice, dried flowers and mint open first. Pliant and nicely layered, this mid-weight Saint-Émilion offers a very attractive combination of ripe, dark fruit and energy. (Drink between 2023-2030). Antonio Galloni.
JD 89 (3/2023): Red plums, flowery incense, spice, and chocolate notes all emerge from the 2020 Château La Croizille, a more medium-bodied, straightforward effort that has good fruit, some firmer tannins, and a good finish. |
