VM 88 (7/2015): The 2011 Barolo Bricco Visette is quite a bit more powerful than the Bussia. Black cherry, smoke, licorice, tobacco and mocha flesh out in the glass. The Bricco Visette has quite a bit of French oak influence, which attenuates the mid-palate and finish. Still, this is a solid effort with quite a bit of potential. Antonio Galloni.

Barolo Bussia

VM 90 (7/2015): A deceptively mid-weight wine, Attilio Ghisolfi's 2011 Barolo Bussia offers considerable appeal. Sweet red cherry, plum, spice and new leather meld together effortlessly. Although not super complex the 2011 is quite expressive today and ready to provide pleasure. Hints of spice and orange peel wrap around the supple, open-knit finish. Antonio Galloni.
