| VM 94 (3/2017): An addition to the range 2015 Pinot Noir Clary Ranch is a terrific wine that captures the essence of the Arnot-Roberts house style. Intensely savory pungent (a quality share by the Syrahs here), the Clary Ranch possesses dazzling aromatic presence and overall nuance. The 100% whole clusters are felt in the wine's lift and aromatic intensity, while the fruit is a bit in the background. | VM 97 (3/2017): A wine of extraordinary beauty, the 2015 Syrah Clary Ranch is a total knock-out. Plum, licorice, mint, lavender and crushed rocks are some of the signatures. | VM 95 (1/2020): The 2018 Pinot Noir Peter Martin Ray Vineyard is an incredibly intriguing wine. Irregular ripening might actually be a plus in giving the Pinot myriad shades of complexity. Floral, savory and bright, the Peter Martin Ray Pinot is so expressive and full of character. On the palate, the 2018 is perhaps a bit rustic, and yet it has so much to say. | VM 94 (3/2017): The 2015 Syrah Que Syrah Vineyard powerful, rich and also massively tannic. Bright, pungent and super-expressive, the 2015 possesses notable intensity as well as structure. I don't see the finesse of the other wines in the lineup, but time may ultimately have something to say about that. Ripe red cherry, pomegranate, mint, chalk and wild herbs built into the deep finish. The 100% whole clusters are pretty much buried by the sheer intensity of the fruit. (Drink between 2018-2030).
