| VM 91 (10/2007): Dark medium ruby. Youthful, reticent nose speaks clearly of nebbiolo with its wonderfully deep, pure red rose, red cherry, spicy plum and tar aromas. Extremely elegant on the palate, this is dense, lush and seamless, with racy, ripe flavors of red plum and red cherry lifted by a hint of citrus. The penetrating, sappy red fruit flavors boast surprising lift and definition for the vintage thanks to harmonious, fine acidity.
