WA 99 (6/2023): The 2021 Pinot Noir Finn is the crown jewel in the DuMOL portfolio this vintage, offering unparalleled perfume, length and harmony. Its aromas blossom slowly, from rhubarb, blackberry jam and pomegranate, to pure accents of licorice, iodine and Earl Grey tea. The palate explodes with concentrated flavors, underpinned by tremendous spicy accents. It has a seamless, silky mouthfeel, an ethereal support of dusty tannins and a tremendously long, floral finish that just goes on and on—it's impossible not to take another sip of this dreamy Pinot Noir!
VM 96 (1/2024): The 2021 Pinot Noir Finn is a dark, imposing wine. Dark blue/blackish fruit, cloves, licorice, chocolate and lavender are all beautifully amplified in this dramatic, explosive Pinot. The 2021 offers tremendous fruit intensity and equally imposing tannic heft. Antonio Galloni. |

WA 96 (7/2024): The 2022 Pinot Noir Finn comes from the Occidental Road Vineyard (40%) and Dumol's Bressay Estate Vineyard. Grapes were harvested on August 19, 22 and 24, before the Labor Day heat wave. It has singular aromas reminiscent of sweet-and-sour sauce, with initial brown sugar sparks giving way to crunchy Asian plum and wild berries, and it gains detail and expression with time in the glass. The light-bodied palate is silky and weightless. Its complex, bitters-laced flavors are backlit by bright acidity, and it has a long, detailed finish.
VM 94 (1/2024): The 2022 Pinot Noir Finn is a potent, tightly-wound wine. Strong savory and mineral notes give the 2022 notable verve to play off its mid-weight personality. Crushed rocks, white pepper, slate, orange peel, mint and dried flowers are nicely delineated in this vibrant, chiseled Pinot. There's gorgeous depth and character here. Finn is a blend of fruit from Bressay (58%) and Occidental Road (42%). (Drink between 2025-2034). Antonio Galloni. |

| VM 94 (8/2023): The 2021 Pinot Noir Highland Divide is another superb wine from DuMOL. Succulent dark cherry, plum, spice and lavender infuse the 2021 with tons of depth and textural intensity. Layered and persistent, the Highland Divide is compelling. I loved it. Antonio Galloni. |

WA 95 (7/2024): The 2022 Pinot Noir Ryan comes from the Dutton-Widdoes and Dutton-Jentoft Vineyards, and grapes were harvested August 18 and later on September 4, just before the Labor Day heat wave. It unfurls dramatically in the glass, where wild berries, conifer and violets are accented by tones of dusty earth, tobacco and mushroom. The medium-bodied palate is powerfully styled, with abundant, grainy tannins, bright acidity and a long, spicy finish. It will benefit from 3-5 years in bottle.
VM 93 (1/2024): The 2022 Pinot Noir Ryan is a very pretty, delicate wine. Crushed flowers, red berry fruit, mint and white pepper lend notable aromatic brightness and lift. The Ryan offers lovely precision and nuance in an understated, appealing style. Ryan is a blend of fruit from Widdoes and Jentoft, two of the most singular vineyards in Sonoma. | VM 94 (1/2024): The 2022 Chardonnay Isobel Charles Heintz Vineyard is classy and elegant from the very first taste. Pear, lime tropical fruit, mint, white pepper and passion fruit are all beautifully lifted. This translucent, expressive Chardonnay has so much to offer. Clean mineral notes extend the finish. | WA 93 (7/2024): The 2021 Chardonnay Wester Reach is especially energetic this year. It has detailed scents of white peach, lemon, panna cotta and gunflint. The light-bodied palate is soft and creamy with expansive, crunchy fruit backlit by tangy acidity, and it has a long, flinty finish. |
