BH 91-93 (10/2024): Enough wood to merit mentioning surrounds the sightly riper if otherwise similar nose. The old vines are very much in evidence as there is an abundance of sappy dry extract adding a sense of volume and density to the larger-bodied flavors that possess slightly better depth. While this too could easily be enjoyed young, it should effortlessly repay up to a decade of keeping. (91-93)/2031+. JM 91 (6/2025): In bottle. Fuller lemon yellow, and more of a wood effect on the nose, which currently damps down the detail. White fruit begins to emerge and there is considerable flesh on the palate. A slightly tighter wine at the finish than through the middle, and certainly persistent. Drink from 2026-2030. |

BH 90-93 (10/2024): A discreet though easily perceptible dollop of wood sets off overtly floral-suffused aromas of sea breeze and lemon zest. Here too the palate impression of the medium-bodied flavors is seductive and delicious with more evident minerality also adding a sense of lift to the balanced, sneaky long and saliva-inducing finale. This is also lovely and worth a look. (Drink starting 2029). JM 91 (6/2025): Bottled in March 2025. Pale colour with a green streak. Not finding much bouquet as yet. Another understated but very refined wine, perhaps the hallmark of biodynamics. The best part is the length of the finish. Drink from 2026-2032. |

BH 91-94 (10/2024): Firm reduction renders an evaluation of the nose impossible today. More interesting are the fresh, impressively dense, especially for the vintage, and powerful larger-scaled flavors that also brim with sappy dry extract on the palate soaking, youthfully austere and tightly wound finale. This is very promising and a wine that should amply repay a decade, perhaps even a bit more, of keeping. (Drink starting 2033). JM 93 (6/2025): In bottle (with a little more to follow). Fairly pale in colour with a powerful but undeveloped bouquet. White fruit with just a hint of greengage. Powerful wine as well on the palate. The finish will doubtless develop even further with age. Drink from 2029-2035. |

JM 92 (6/2022): Clean crisp white fruit but otherwise more backward than the straight Chablis. Piercing crisp and beautiful white fruit, one of the best I have tasted, possibly the finest since the remarkable 2010. Long and fine with just the right elegance and weight of fruit, Drink from 2024-2030. Tasted Jun 2022. WA 91 (7/2022): Offering up aromas of citrus zest, crisp green apple, white flowers, freshly baked bread and light reduction, the 2020 Chablis Vieilles Vignes is medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with tangy acids, fine depth at the core and a long, mineral finish. BH 90 (9/2022): This is aromatically similar to the regular cuvée but with even better Chablis character. However, there is notably better mid-palate density and power to the bigger-bodied flavors that exude outstanding intensity while coating the mouth on the beautifully long finale. While offering another dimension of depth, it comes at the price of being more structured. Highly recommended provided you have the patience to allow it at least a few years of keeping. (Drink starting 2026). |
