| JS 93 (6/2016): Bright and aromatic with rose, blueberry and currant character. Medium to full body, very fine tannins and a beautiful finish. Such finesse and beauty. Impressive for the vintage. |

| VM 94+ (8/2011): The 2009 Oreno is stunning. Layers of soft, well-articulated fruit caress the palate in this sweeping, dramatic wine. There is tons of depth, freshness and vitality in the glass, not to mention terrific overall balance. Sweet flowers, spices and licorice wrap around the seamless, captivating finish. Oreno is one of Italy's most improved wines. The 2009 represents another move in the right direction. Antonio Galloni. |

| VM 69 (8/2013): The 2010 Sette Ponti is drop-dead gorgeous. Tar, licorice, incense, plums and graphite jump from the glass in a wine that impresses for its nuance, delineation and sheer class. The tannins are firm, but also beautifully balanced. Readers should give the 2010 a few years in bottle to come around, but even today, the wine's balance is utterly impeccable. | VM 94 (9/2014): The 2011 Oreno wraps around the palate with gorgeous resonance and silkiness. Mocha, cloves, leather and dark spices all add nuance to a core of voluptuous, racy fruit. This is a typical 2011 long on texture, resonance and early appeal. Readers will have a hard time keeping their hands off the 2011, as it is already striking. The style is ripe, intense and full-bodied, yet all the elements fall into place effortlessly. Antonio Galloni. |

| VM 92 (11/2016): The 2013 Oreno is dark, creamy and voluptuous in the glass. Scorched earth, smoke tobacco, new French oak, licorice and herbs flesh out in a concentrated, structured wine that will benefit from a few years in the cellar. JS 99 (5/2018): Gorgeous floral and deep, dark berry aromas with hints of spices such as cinnamon and hazelnuts. Full body and ultra-fine and strong tannins that are powerful yet so sleek and beautiful. Fantastic length and texture. Deep, dark and profound. Takes you on a long journey and shows you its true character. Better in 2025. Give it time.
WS 93 (10/2018): Focused, dripping with black cherry and blueberry fruit, accented by leather, spice and earth notes. This is broad-shouldered and supple, with sweet fruit and a solid structure converging on the finish. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2028. 5,500 cases made. |
