Ultima Pietra
Today at Flickinger Wines we would like to showcase our current collection of the Tuscan producer, Ultima Pietra. From once-barren wheat fields, a meticulously cultivated tiny 3.2-hectare, high-altitude vineyard was born in the winter of 2017, with every vine and portion of land attended to with precision viticulture techniques. Unlike its neighboring regions, Ultima Pietra's terroir eschews the dominance of Sangiovese. Instead, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay have found a harmonious home here, thriving in the unique soil composition and microclimate.
